Usually the Humane Society will offer lower prices for animal care if you qualify. (Meaning you make under a certain amount of income per month.)
Look up your local Humane Society and check it out.

Well you can always ask for donations, but people are very skeptical when it comes to that, because some people lie and say their dog is sick, meanwhile they don’t have a dog, they just got a picture off google, and they keep their money to themselves.
Back to topic, you can always get pet insurance, it can save you some money, you will still be charged a big amount in your case.
