Lisa asks…

What are some medium/large dog breeds that don’t shed?

My fiancé is allergic to some dogs so I’m wondering what medium/large dog breeds don’t shed. I don’t like small dogs so I want a bigger dog but they have to shed almost nothing and be good
with kids.

Also, how much do cocker spaniels shed? We had one whe I was 3 and from what my parents
told me he was a great dog and I love them and want one but we can’t get one if they shed much.

Thanks

A portuguese water dog is a medium to large dog with minimal shedding … Fun, cute dogs … Cocker spaniels shed a lot and they have been overbred so do not have the best temperaments anymore … If there is a dog allergy involved here i would find out what the person is allergic to … Because with dog allergies a person can be allergic to the fur, to the dander or to the saliva … Or any combination of the three … When you do chose a dog, spend some time with the breed to be sure no allergies are triggered before bringing the dog home and discovering the allergy is too severe …

Chris asks…

What are some dog breeds that don’t shed much?

I planning on buying/adopting a puppy. I want a dog that doesn’t shed much. I also want a dog that I can play with and hug roughly without him getting nippy. Size doesn’t matter to me, but I don’t want something as big as a Neapolitan Mastiff! (I’m only 5’2″ so that wouldn’t work)

Can you list some breeds that fit that criteria?
Thanks :)

There is no such thing as a “totally” non-shedding dog. All dogs shed at least a little hair at one time or another, as do humans. There are however dogs that shed little to no hair. This is a list of breeds that shed little to no hair.

Mandy asks…

What are some dog breeds that don’t shed a lot?

I grew up with Labrador Retrievers and loved them to death. I didn’t love their hair all over my clothing and the furniture, though. I am looking to get a dog, but I don’t want a dog that sheds a lot. I want a dog that is athletic, loving, caring, has the temperament of a lab, but without all the hair. I’m not looking for a poodle or terrier without fur. I just don’t want a dog that sheds a vacum load full of hair everyday.

admin answers:

Well i think you should adopt one From a animal shelter because they have Millions of dogs that need home’s plus they are the best they have good temperment, cheap, short haired(don’t shed alot),very pretty, and adjust well anywere you can get a puppy or a older dog! Very sporty!

If not please!!!!! Get one from a responsible owner-
