The Pet Tuxedo Phenomenon

Many people know all about tuxedo cats, but do you know about cat tuxedos? People all over the country have been dressing their pets for years. Dogs and cats seem to be the most popular animals to dress in human like costumes.

Although many costumes have been created for dogs and cats, the tuxedo still remains the most popular. Pet tuxedos help attendees accept the dog or cat in the ceremony, when otherwise they might not.

The cat tuxedo is not seen nearly as often as its antithesis. However, you will see some cat lovers dressing up their cats and placing them near the alter during wedding ceremonies.

The major advantage of putting a cat in a tuxedo over a dog is that the cat is less likely to rip the tuxedo off right away. Once the cat is used to the tux he/she usually leaves it alone. This is great because you do not want to have to follow the cat around fixing its tuxedo all day long.

Cats have a disadvantage over dogs in the fact that they are usually less dense in size. They cannot have a big and regal tuxedo placed onto them because it simply will not fit correctly.

Placing a dog tuxedo on your dog is the most common practice you can do in terms of dressing up your pet. These animals have been used in weddings as ring bearers for quite some time now.

The dog looks great in a tuxedo because he/she can hold large tuxedos with great detail and style. This animal can even sustain a top hat if you have trained him/her to cooperate with a hat.

The great hindrance to placing a tuxedo on a dog is the dog itself. Many dogs will take the tuxedo off by biting and pulling. These animals need to be taught to keep the tuxedo on them well before the tuxedo event.
